2018 Year of the Dog Silver Coin 1oz Royal Mint Lunar Series

2018 Royal Mint 1oz year of the dog Silver coin. 2018 brings the Year of the Dog, the fifth coin in a series of 12 Lunar coins released by the Royal Mint as part of the The Shēngxiào Collection.

Designed by British Chinese artist Wuon-Gean Ho and struck in 999.0 Silver, this coin contains exactly one ounce of fine silver. It has a face value of £2 and is usually provided in a plastic capsule  multiple coins may be provided in a tube.

The obverse side of the coin features the Queen's fifth royal portrait, as designed by the Royal Mint's Jody Clark in 2015. 
The Year of the Dog runs from 16 February 2018 to 4 February 2019
